Konica Minolta participates in humanitarian aid for Turkey and Syria

/

Our thoughts and hearts are still with all those affected by the earthquakes in Turkey and Syria. And we are proud to be part of the Konica Minolta family, where no one is indifferent to the misfortunes of others.

The disaster has affected many people. We express our support to our colleagues, their families and loved ones affected by the event. We are thinking of you and everyone in the affected areas.

All help is important

Our company Konica Minolta IT Solutions Czech is also providing assistance through Médecins Sans Frontières.

Konica Minolta’s European management has decided to donate 100 bizhub 227 multifunction printers to be used in local schools selected by the Turkish Ministry of Education. In parallel, Konica Minolta Inc. donated JPY 10 million (EUR 70k) to support activities in affected communities through the Japanese Red Cross Society in Japan. More information here.

One of our colleagues at Konica Minolta Business Solutions Europe got us excited about a project to sell specialised postcards. These are printed on Konica Minolta devices and sold on Etsy. The proceeds are donated to the humanitarian German organisation working in the affected areas “Aktion Deutschland hilft – Bündnis deutscher Hilfsorganisationen”. Information about the organization here.

All Konica Minolta colleagues across all countries have been called upon to help and those who can are contributing to support people affected by the earthquake through organisations such as the Red Cross, Médicins Sans Frontières, Save the Children or People in Need.

We believe that all aid is worthwhile and we hope that life in the affected areas will soon return to its daily routine without hardship and misfortune.
